The festive season is nearly upon us! With searches for ‘Christmas recipes’ up by 314% in the last month, people are searching for what they can cook this Christmas.
TikTok users have been sharing their favourite Christmas dishes. With the hashtag ‘#christmasrecipes’ receiving over 164 million views on TikTok, InSinkErator have revealed the top 10 festive recipes according to TikTok.
Expert, Jamie Griffin from InSinkErator said: “As we approach the most highly anticipated time of the year, food is the one of the largest elements of the festive season that people look forward to.
With many people overbuying when it comes to their Christmas food shop, TikTok gives users great pointers in terms of what to buy and what Christmas recipes you can follow to ensure that nothing goes to waste.”

1. Christmas Crack - 13.3 million views
@biggirlbakery has gone viral on TikTok, receiving over 13.3 million views, after she revealed how to make her favourite Christmas recipe, Christmas Crack. With the hashtag ‘#christmascrack’ receiving 49.6 million views, it comes as no surprise that TikTok users are loving this recipe.
In order to create your own Christmas Crack, simply melt butter and brown sugar on a medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Then line a baking sheet with parchment paper and line as many salted crackers as you can onto the sheet.
Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the crackers and place in a 400 degree oven for 6 minutes, advises @biggirlbakery. Remove from the oven and then cover with chocolate chips. Spread the melted chocolate and add any toppings you like. Wait to cool and enjoy!

Simply top baked brie with fig jam, walnuts, rosemary, honey and olive oil. Bake it in the oven until the cheese is soft and then drizzle with honey and sprinkle some salt on top.

Showcasing his golden crispy potatoes coated in a sage garlic butter, @thegrubworkskitchen says all you need to buy is potatoes, stock, butter, garlic, sage and salt.
Simply peel and slice your potatoes and then bring to boil after adding your stock and salt. Boil until fork tender and then drain and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Cover the roasting tray with oil and place into a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Ensure to not add the potatoes straight into the oil.
Add your potatoes and coat in the oil and roast for 1 hour. Then melt your butter with sage and garlic on a medium heat. Let the butter infuse into the potatoes for 1-2 minutes and then roast your potatoes in some of the butter for the last 5 minutes.
