What do I do if my food waste disposer is no longer working?

Follow these simple steps to reset your food waste disposer:

1. Make sure that the food waste disposer is switched 'OFF' at the socket.
2. Gently press the red button in to reset the disposer. If it does not stay in (retracted), wait ten minutes and try again.
3. Turn on a cold stream of water and turn the disposer switch to “ON” position, the disposer should now run again.
